Why does looking at the minimap make you a cheater?

Joe Mayo is concerned about the profession of cartographer and any that might dabble in this field. He is worried that there may be a graphic interpretation of ones efforts to establish an understanding of their surroundings.

Joe also abhors to-do lists, checkbook registries, and the concept of math in general.

cartography =/= dark witchcraft

I installed a mod to remove all maps. Love it, why don't you also do that then delete this thread.

Mostly mini map. I have a sticky note on my monitor. Also my friend on the server keep bickering/accusing eachother of "cheating"

I would prefer a native options to disable maps.
Instead of downloading a mod for every game.

And the mod route doesn't prevent the accusations from flying around, considering it is only clientside.
