DRM free version

Hello developers,

I am curious if a DRM free version is possible here on Steam or possibly a GOG release in Valheim's future. I play the game mostly single player and it would be a bonus not to have to launch Steam every time. I liked this about the itch.io demo that used to be available.

A continued itch.io version would also be good. I like GOG a lot and it is my preferred place to buy games but I have also had good experiences with Itch.io as well. GOG has a few advantages over itch. Player base and a optional client for CO OP networking functionality and achievements for those that are interested in that aspect. So, releasing the game on GOG would not give an inferior experience to that of Steam.

I second this. To this date I've yet to find a statement on the subject. That would be welcome !

I usually don't buy DRMed games. There can be exceptions, but not before one year has passed since release anyway. Moreover, the game being in early access, can I even consider it's been released yet ?
