Do you mean the size of what is at (3000,4000)?

The map generator is hard to see some good stuff sometimes. You would not likely spot this in it; its due east of the spawn. Perhaps it is what you seek, I set up shop there 5 min after finding it, its really good. As a bonus the deer and pigs and dwarves leave a pile of loot every morning from their war with the plains guys -- it takes 2 trips per morning to clean up the yard... Also, warning, the spot I set up shop is a Drag Village, so you have to be able to clear that to make use of it, which is probably fine if you wanted plains anyway. Its right on a continent, though, so if that part is critical it won't work for you.

A2 does have a maypole on the start island, but not so good on the biome front. 'NoBoats' is also ironically terrible with not even Eikthyr on the start island.

TY for the input, but the distance from a continent is critical. Random event mobs always start over land, even drakes. If your whole island has tables on it, the event mobs spawn on the nearest available land- the continent- which leaves them there. Drakes will try to fly over, but are timed out before they arrive.

Most seeds do not have what I want, which is a small island or archipelago with both plains and meadows, far from any continent. Interestingly, the map I found that comes closest is seed '1'.

wow this one is almost perfect for single or 1-3 players haha , evrything is too close and have plenty biome resources

Really sounds terrible to me. Never look up maps so I prefer not knowing where they are.

Exploring to find stuff is a lot of what the game has to offer to me.

To each their own, I am sure some people would enjoy a map like that.
