I'd love to be able to find a bronze sword in the Meadows in a barrow sometimes or maybe get one of those damn shields we see int he Forest Burial Mounds all - the - damn- time! Admit it who hasn't wanted one of those!

Not game breaking? How is a mod that drops items that require crafting in vanilla not game breaking? It’s almost as game breaking as transporting metal through portals, since it basically lets you skip it because the mobs just drop the crafted item.

There are several settings in Epic Loot that combat this. For instance, you can restrict what items drop according to what recipes you know or (as I prefer) which items you have previously crafted. If you need to do the work of making it in the first place, you still need to gather and refine the necessary materials to make your prototype. Alternatively, you can restrict "magic item" drops to only enchanting materials, leaving you to make every item you want enchanted.

Epic Loot alone will skew things heavily in the player's favor, so I recommend pairing it with Creature Level and Loot Control. This allows monsters to spawn with up to five stars. The mod defaults can be a little aggressive, so tweaking settings for the game experience you desire is recommended.

Nope, not in Vanilla game as of now.

But desperately needed. Give you a taster of what you Can get later on I'd be very supportive of! Maybe if the preceding Biome very rarely dropped an item from the next one

it's so much fun, adds just a little bit of power to the player, but a TON of fun. Just finished our 2nd play through and were messing around with mods, this one is more like a full on expansion. Most of others are just...like cheating mods.
