Roll back mistland nerf !

Dear Devs,

Please roll back the seeker nerf...and well every thing else to.
Untill 2days ago i had a blast in mistlands, fighting the seekers with low stamina
you need a bit of skill but it was do-able.
Hit, evade, walk to get stamina..rins and repeat
surviving the Mistlands was a skil based gameplay
now we have no more skillbased gameplay
Your seekers are a big JOKE
Please rollback all nerf...seekers+other nerfs
..bugfixes are good thx4that
I rly love Mistlands but the one before the big ♥♥♥♥♥ nerf!

Rollback please rollback!

I would have liked a nerf really but I can see this one is too much.
One of my main issues in mistlands was the seekers and soldiers have immense knockback for some god awful reason (which I also said in my previous post in another forum regarding mistlands).

Honestly, if they actually just reduced the knockback ranged of those seekers + fix the damn visibility with the wisp/add more visibility items, I can see it being a lot manageable even when you're new.

Another issue was the Gjalls being nerfed, reason being: When the raid event happens, it absolutely smashes player built objects so fast cause of the double blob attack and it flies, so no walling/trench. They could have just fixed this by making the spray attack deal less damage on buildings (significantly reduce vs stone objects) but nope, honestly a single blob would still wreck bases but they changed where the raid happens no so most of your wood structures is fine (shrug), idk, honestly feels like the wrong nerf method. Not like it was hard to dodge back then, it was manageable but the visibility was just really hard so actually see it even doing an attack.

Idk about the seeker raid, honestly feels like overkill nerf.

Got to try today, didn't see any seekers. For real, the spawn rate for me starting out was way too high. While I am ok with a small nerf there I also think they should have added an adolescent seeker mob as a fill gap for gameplay purposes. Keep it interesting but not getting seekers/soldiers every step and also still getting some drops so it doesn't become a grind

Agreed. For sure it removed some excitement from Mistlands. I've played on public-test, so by the time the nerf rolled in I already had a lot of Mistlads gear and items, I could somehow fight the bugs, but the game was back to it's original difficulty.
I think running around Furling camps in the middle of the night wearing troll armor with the padded helmet and only being limited by your Draugr Fang durability made people forget that a game tagged #survival should be a bit challenging.

I agree part should be rolled back. I also believe some things needed nerfs (and some areas buffs). Mistlands was tolerable after learning the ropes, however, it became a tedious grind.

My wants:

Tone down the mist a touch. Options to cut thru the mist, or just make the mist a bit less hard to see thru, not much, just take the edge off.

I really don't think the mobs need nerfing, however the frequency coupled with their difficulty made the grind annoying. Lower the spawn rate somewhat however, I think this means the need to add young seekers that have a chance to spawn the normal seeker drops at a lower rate so it doesn't make the grind any worse.

Something to help with stamina. Nothing huge, just something to aid with regen, or slightly lower stamina drain. While I generally like how the game is set up, I do feel this needs a tweak.

In general, I am happy with the game, this patch was a very sharp spike for difficulty. I haven't gotten to play the new seekers, however the changes sound like too much with regards to the nerfs. I feel a few subtle tweeks elsewhere would be enough to aid the gameplay without too much issues for the wide spectrum of players.

They should only have lowered the spawn rates.

They should simply add difficulty. Average/normal difficulty could be what it is now. Hard can be increase (x) by 15% and easy could be decrease (x) by 15% then we are all happy.. we should be able to just choose how we want to play some people want to just explore and not have to doge, parry every attack absolutely perfectly or face death. Some of us play games to relax.
