why can't i hit anything that's SLIGHTLY above or under me?
its making mislands beyond frustrating to navigate and fight on. i get that they tried some amount of realism here, but the way hitboxes work just suck. if i look down i should be able to wing down to hit whatever is biting my ankles. if i look up, my arms should be long enough that can be able to hit whatever is a foot above my head.
these seekers are everywhere, i'm almost always fighting 2 or more at the same time.. and i'm LUCKY if i can land a hit on this god aweful terrain that takes all my stamina to climb.
don't get me wrong, i really like the mistlands idea, but the stamina+terrain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is REALLY starting to drain that interest.

because the developers locked the attack angle to a stupid-narrow X Y zone directly in front of the player chest for melee weapons... anything above or below that zone does not register as a hit... for YOU... but the same can't be said about NPCs. What fun!

Choose a different weapon if it’s such an issue for you. Different weapons swing in different ways, figure it out.

Yeah, it's really buggy that way, and big put off of Valheim all together that comes up at lot in Mistlands.
only solution is to move to flat ground and/or use the big AoE 2H hammer

This has been a problem since forever. Not fun when you're fighting something huge but at a slightly elevated angle. At least 1 handed axes have a secondary attack that can sometimes reach.

The pick will hit enemies that are above or below you. You can also time a leap and swing for enemies that are above you.
