The iron grind is the worst of the grinds, especially if you want to make everything. I wouldn't bother. Get enough to upgrade your armor a little, get a mace and shield and call it the day... move on to silver. Bonemass isn't that hard (no boss is currently).

Days in game would be more relevant, even if some may skip the night more than others.
