Fellow vikings, please keep this discussion relevant, constructive and polite.

So what if it's slow. We know it's slow, some devs are slow some are fast, does it matter? Is there a reason you want it to be faster? Being faster or slower doesnt make it objectively better or worse. Art/creation gets done when it gets done, saying it's slow or fast is neither productive, or counter productive. are players really worried devs aren't being productive enough? that ain't our job nor our problem, we're not their business managers we are simply early access game owners.

Don't say we're owed anything, you'd just sound like someone who thinks they deserve a million bucks because they gave a needy person food and water. If you don't like the current product then high chance you won't like it when it's finished cause I doubt they're changing the current 2 thirds of the game radically.

It matters if Iron Gate starts a content policy like Paradox has, while the game is still in early access. Their aim should be to actually finish the game, not port it to other platforms. It used to be called beta, and it was free. Then it became early acess and you paid for it, and now early acess seems more and more like an alibi to do anything but finish the game.

When ever someone complains about slow development, I like to imagine they only have that one game on their computer and they are just sitting there, staring at the screen, hoping for something to happen.

Yeah, because it's really funny how some people have small libraries. Totally hilarious.

What's really funny, though, are the people trying to claim development of this game is NOT at a snail's pace. Because it is. Defend it however you want: "small development team" or "they 'just' hired new people and training takes time" or whatever excuse you want to throw at it, actual content updates are few and far between (and IMO, underwhelming).

build your base, craft your gear. finish. zoney are done quick and also there are just a few zones to do. u are done very fast and then u can wait a year for the next zone. buy it when it is finished.

those people with that 800+ hours and so on they just have nothingelse to do don't take their opinion srsly. the average stuck-on-one-game-and-happy-for-life ppl have no impact on the game review every game has those players.

Hey man, I have several thousand hours and happen to agree with you. Only things that keep me coming back are mods; the game itself doesn't hold much replayability for me in vanilla. (For others, it does, I guess.)

This is a troll. Content may be a bit slow, but there are plenty of things to do in the game.

There's ton of content in the game for a first playthrough, but yes the content update is very, very slow. In the more than 27 months I've had the game they only added hearts and home and Mistlands. Fact is, modders have created almost as much content as the devs have. And them spending resources on porting in to xbox doesn't make things any better. 

content is slow and repetative. dont buy until its out of early access

I bought this just after Hearth and Home was integrated and nearly at 800 Hours played. Wholeheartedly worth getting before final release.

game is worth getting currently already definitly if you enjoy sandbox survival games.

tough to be fair here i have to agree they are tanking a bit TOO long with the content updates for this game.... that part does not stand above beeing called out.

Gonna have to disagree with you there bud. Even on my second playthrough (so I already knew what I was doing) I spent 100+ hours starting from beginning to kill the current final boss of the game.

Game is in EA still yes, but still has an asston of hours worth of gameplay. The only ones who could possibly deny this are Dev Command abusers.
