VR ain't for most people who have a life outside of the game, which is VERY cool. That's why the VR audience is *tiny*.

The forest is pretty good seems like all good vr games are just PC versions with VR support or mods Well there's The Forest, and the incoming Green Hell VR, two great ones.
judging from his post i think he just has no time for VR. Not being able to play with spouses, pets, kids, eat, drink, while browsing the web... VR ain't for him, which is cool.

VR tends to have lots of technical issues to support both VR and non-VR at the same time, and it also tends to affect gameplay. Most games seem to be either VR or non-VR, rarely both from what I've seen. I'd be happy to be proven wrong. As for me, I *can* play VR using https://www.vorpx.com, but I tend not to. I can't easily "alt-tab" other windows to check https://valheim.fandom.com/wiki/Valheim_Wiki for questions that pop up, watch a tutorial in YT while building, enjoy sipping my coffee, or interact with my my wife and house-pets.
And I think this is a normal problem that keeps the VR audience somewhat small except for "get out of your chair and swing those arms" type games that would have me accidentally punching my wife or stepping on the house cat.
Again, these are factors I suspect keep the VR fan base *small* compared to normal releases, and a reason for the developers to simply not factor it in since the base gameplay isn't designed with VR in mind like it is for VR-only titles. Why build in "standard" and *then* hop into VR, if VR is the end-all, be-all everything?

The game is sweet in VR, plays just like The Forest which does have official VR that cross plays in co-op.
Awesome fun +1 VR
