Currently renting a server through G-Portal, used them to host Valheim several times and have had no issue. With this latest release my friends and I jumped back into another server but we're have some serious latency issues when we're in close proximity of one another. I've read the developers comment about how multiplayer between client and server is handled. G-Portal doesn't have an answer to the problem so I'm asking those of you that host your own dedicated server if you've experienced and troubleshooted the issue. I've read articles about the data send/receive rate but I'm unsure if that's the culprit. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
