Will you also ask for the removal of Troll Death if you start dying to Trolls too often?

Try being more careful?

Death is death and should be penalized as such. There are ways to avoid those deaths and refusing to use those ways is not a reason to avoid the consequences.

Just out of curiosity, exactly what are you doing that's causing you to fall to your death? I haven't had it happen once, even early game.

I felled a tree, which felled 2 trees, which felled another 3 trees which i did not see, the 3 trees that I did not see landed on me. So if 3 by 3 trees that are felled by me fell me, should I lose the xp, woe is me ?

That's not really falling to your death, that's just physics trolling you. Had it happen.

Oh I'm so paranoid about tree chopping now I dodgeroll after it starts to fall. But case in point, I take action to prevent such silly deaths, he could do the same by not making super mario style scaffolding (probably the cause).

Go crazy with scaffolding. Better safe than sorry.

Looks like someone never built a tower here. Some people try going high whitout admin cheats and sometimes your building things whitout a plan and that can end up in falling

Not towers, but I've built some pretty tall stuff. I just use makeshift scaffolding to avoid falling.

And even if I do fall, its usually after sliding off a roof, so its not lethal.

to be overly frank: get gud, you can whine in this forum all you want and also feel that it is reasonable but in the end you are the part that is supposed to ensure that your character doesnt die and adding counterintuitive extra rules on the developer side just convolutes this game. death is by all means avoidable, not using scaffolding or even medium food is just lazy as fall damage is also hard limited to a max of 100

A player doesn't even need these "skills" to finish the game, there is no such penalty other than it can upset a players pride.

Well you also have to run back and get your stuff (which honestly I consider a worse offender), but that's not exactly difficult to do at a build site.

Well my advice is... never do a round tower whitout a strict plan and a blueprint.

I started some creative thing that ended up as a frankenstein monster and at the end i just tested out how high that thing can go. So no clear structure and a high chance of falling xD

Well ive built it whitout a stone foundation and whitout a built in tree.

Its easy to avoid falling but sometimes things can het messy xD and there are heights where you wont survive even with bufffood.

Some of the issues like running back to your corpse can eventually be solved, like the option in Minecraft where a player can keep their inventory upon death. Mods can do that now. Besides it would be more meaningful for players to decide and co-ordinate how they as a group will play the game.

Basically if you don't like the rules, it's really not the developers fault any more, it's other players who you have an issue with.
