Focus is co-op play, not competitive.

You would like this game a lot, by the sound of things.

It's not visually obvious, but Valheim is a Terraria-like. How are you with that and/or Starbound?

Although PvP is possible, it's definitely not a major selling point of the game. Fantastic from an open-world/sandbox stand point. I think you would still find this game enjoyable, pick it up when it's on sale perhaps if you're worried about spending the money.

This game is not like Ark or Rust, its a PvE game, its seen as a hardcore to the casuals, but easy to the hardcore. I am not sure this game would be for you, since its not a PvP game, however you might have some fun playing it, sadly you will get not to the fun within 2 hours, so you can't try it and then refund.

See people have it easy, and then they go to the swamp and die, and make rage threads, or they get to close to the plains. Weird ♥♥♥♥.

So from me i would say 'mabye', there is alot of mods tho, alot of QOL mods out there.

There is no pvp in this unless its just you and your buddies servers are capped at around 10 players and for good reason the game was not built for large servers. However the pve and progression is a ton of fun definitely worth the price

I believe this is not the game for you. The pve is great, but the pvp is not here, and won't be. You can run mods for weird loot drops, but they really have no meaning in the grand scheme of things.
