Not having any issues here.
How is it crashing? Desktop bsod just doing nothing and steam window stays up?
What type of video card do you run?

Try different launch commands in steam to try different video solutions? Did you get the prompt to choose vulcan or whatever? After the update it asked the first time.

Personally I started a new character in a new world. I have not tried to access/sync any old worlds or characters. But it sounds like you are not even getting that far?

I use a 3070ti, also it is JUST this game that won't open.

Was perfectly fine the patch before, and since release, as you know I am incapable of opening the game without it just closing with some random error.

The error I cannot tell you what it is because it appears for maybe a second, or two before closing, then the play button on steam being visible again to click, and then that is the loop.

I've tried running windowed, fullscreen, borderless, none has worked, I'm unsure how I would change my resolution, but there is also NO prompt to run in Vulkan, I click play, it loads into the "Irongate" logo, then closes with the error described as above.

here is the link to the error, there is no other information on it, and this is all I am presented with after seeing the Irongate logo.

You may not be consciously using mods but that is the Unity error from mod loading engines like BepinEx due to Unity incompatibility. May need to examine how your game is launched and see if any other loader is coming into play. This latest load moved to Unity 2020.3.33 (Unity itself is Beta on 2022.5.1).

I have reinstalled on two separate occasions?
I'm not really sure where I would look for any mods, or launchers attempting to use Valheim.
Any ideas?

Check your Valheim installation folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim) and see if there is a folder called BepinEx. Re-name it if so.

You stated you deleted all valheim folders before a reinstall.

That should clear out any mod or corrupted files unless you have a mod manager polluting your install when you start up.
