Ok I have a question

Devs: Here's a new game with unique bosses and mechanics/zones
Player: Races through everything. WTH not enough content give me more i was able to do this to fast.
Dev: Makes changes to current content to slow things down, try to balance things out.
Player: WTH devs now it's taking to long to do what I did before this is just useless bloat i want new content!!
Devs: puts out new content, and makes some more changes in hopes to level the playing field and smooth it out.
Player: WTH you guys suck this isn't the content I wanted!!! Pfft your game is worthless you devs should give up....you suck.
Devs: Gives a more accurate time frame of things yet to come so they are at least completing what they say when they say it or as close to that time frame as possible.
Player: WTH you guys are so damn slow, you don't know what your doing. My 8 yr old could program better than you (yet I have no idea what i'm talking about and just saying this cause i'm angry cause your not giving me what i want)


Seriously when did our mentality become so little. Back when UO and EQ first came out people were i don't know, calmer, more understanding, not so egocentric / know it all. When did our society get so childish and my way or the highway? Don't give me the whole AAA team compared to a indie dev either cause back then this was brand new territory / first of its kind.

This game is different, its unique and its not like every other thing out there. There are a lot that are going through this mentality though and i just don't understand. Now I know there are bad devs out there, but devs like these guys are the ones we should be supporting, not the ones who blatantly take our money then drop the game like a hot potatoe.

Or keep recreating over and over the same game just with a slightly different name and suckering people into re-buying it with false hopes and honeyed lies. (bless online/unleashed, Arche Age anyone?)
