All he mentioned was losing iron armor, which transfers with your character.

I really like this game but now I'm just waiting for it to be complete. If it needs total restart I'm most likely not interested to return because I already spent so much time in it. If it only needs to start a new seed it's totally Ok and I'm very close to start it already (this is the thing what I have heard).

But anyways it seems to take very long time to be finished. Hope I'm wrong.

I doubt it will be total restart. I think with the way things look so far, you will still be able to keep your toons and transport mats from one world to a new one. If you're not squeamish with mods, Mharr suggested using a world exporter of sorts, but I don't know much about that.

Problem is just started the game with a bunch of new players in my clan. We have just got to the point to take BioMass and spent a lot of time getting everyone up to iron armor. Would hate to lose all that. So I hope the generation of unexplored areas thing will work.

Early Access or not I am tired of that stupid reply when devs think they are upgrading and disregard the efforts of new buyers. We spent the money and the revenues you get from servers to keep the dev working up during Early Access. They need to change the name of that to EARLY FUNDING. Then if they want they can charge a $5 fee upon launch for Release Funding.

Existing worlds can still generate new biomes in unexplored areas, at least 500 feet from sight of the explored areas.

The devs suggested worlds that have been mostly explored start new worlds for this reason. Also, it's possible older worlds contain aspects that might crash a player.

Also, it's to be expected that Early Access games aren't supposed to last forever, and eventually, people should start new games.

Wow the entitlement is strong in this one.
It is a small dev team trying to actually do it right instead of force out broken updates like most teams. If you actually paid attention you would know there is another update coming in Feb.

I was an early adopter for Kenshi, before it was published on Steam. It went into Early Access in 2013 and was officially out of Beta by 2018. Kenshi was in development for about 12 years, 5 of which in Early Access. Kenshi is rated Very Positive all time and Overwhelmingly Positive recently.

Is Kenshi a fraud? No. Is Early Access a fraud? No. Can Early Access games be fraudulent? Yes. Is Valheim a fraud? Not at this point in time. It's on its first year on Steam. I'm assuming that it might take perhaps 3-4 more years before it comes out of Beta.

Why am I okay with this? Because $25 Cdn is half an hour worth of my hourly charge out rate. I've gotten 370+ hours out of this game. If I put the dollar worth to the hours played, that's 6.7 cents per hour. I'd say I got my money's worth.
