Have the developers updated the game so one can assign the numerical keyboard keys to the various numbered keys defaulted to the top number keys?

Upon game release, I could not assign any number key function to the numerical keyboard. This blew me away. Not having this basic ability was beyond the scope of any previous Early Access game I have played thus far. I refunded the game. My first ever steam refund in ~1.5 decades on Steam.

Have they fixed it yet or is Valheim still in the "one size fits all" mentality?
