Do you have all required materials in your personal inventory?

Portals require Surtling Core, Fine Wood and Greydwarf Eyes.

If you already collected all these resources, you should get the recipe.

I do have all the materials, when i played alone i got the recipe and built it
But in another world played with friends we never got the recipe

Give us a screen shot with those 3 ingredients in your inventory and one of your build menu.

Does the server have a mod that disables portals?

If you connect to that world with your existing character they should already have the recipe. What happens there?
