the guy above you already explained what is more likely to be the case. you can find special loot to trade with her since its HILDIRS QUEST. not YOUR quest remember.

plus a silly "run after quest markers" system would be an insult to valheims exploration systems.

The game's exploration is designed around running after boss markers. So i'm not sure how it's an insult to the it's exploration system. Not to mention that if you seen a biome, you've seen all of it's type, only thing you're exploring is the terrain generation.

An accessory that allowed you to pull carts more effectively would be great. Having unique rewards for the quests is definitely more attractive than just some gold, since apart from a couple items, there isn't much use for gold, unless they added more. Something like having a serpent type miniboss drop an upgrade for your longboat, or even an exclusive material to make a new type of boat. Those rewards alone would add a lot of content for the game.

As its described by the devs its a pretty classic Quest. "Silly quest log" or not, it doesnt really matter xD

I was more thinking it would be similar to Haldor. You find her and instead of trading something she gives a clue of some kind for the miniboss or w.e she needs. When you do the thing/things she asks and return to her then you have additional options available.

Maybe she has a special forge that you now get access to for instance.

I personally don't think it should be pinged on the map like a boss either. It should take some additional exploration. What I'd really, really love would be for there to be "unusual" landmarks in existing lower level biomes further out from the starting area that would give additional clues, etc. I want there to be more reasons to explore meadows and black forests once you've moved on from them progression wise.

We may need to see how the 1st one turns out before asking for more.

I'm a bit worried that quests may not add much to the game. If it's just "go there to kill this mini boss and I give you 300 golds " it will get old pretty quickly. Hopefully the designers at IG have more imagination than me.

Unknown but I would consider it likely, yes. The community in general would like more NPCs and related stuff to do.

Dunno if what they are planning but its literally the single best Idea to encourage Exploration in the game period.
