Those resources all grow themselves and re-spawn.

Berry bushes are subject to physical destruction. A careful viking avoids combat and logging operations in the immediate vicinity of these resources. A careful viking might even leave a single bush in a cluster of berry bushes unpicked to provide a visual cue pending re-spawn.

Tbh they are very abundant. It does require a bit of exploration though.
That said I agree I find it a bit unnerving thinking that such needed ingredients are technically limited on a single world

They specifically commented on that saying: it would be too easy to gather those resources if people could just move them around. It promotes exploration and movement. If you don't like that then yeah, just play with mods, it's not like the dev's are going to bend to your will.

If this ruins your experience with Valheim completely I just feel bad for you. Like really bad.

Bushes always grow back as long as you don't destroy them, make a path to every bush and check them every few days. Same thing with mushrooms and whatnot, they even respawn inside dungeons.

On some maps you can get a village with multiple houses having a ton of rasperry bushes around.

Yeah this patch has been a collossal disappointment. Uninstalled and added to the list of hidden games that I refuse to look at anymore. Day late and dollar short developers couldn't even release a substantial patch in six months after selling what, 10 million copies? Even Project Zomboid does better than that. Maybe I'll try again in a few years once they finally give up and slap a 1.0 on whatever they consider to be "finished". Maybe I'll finally be able to fully upgrade my Troll Armor by then.

thats a dumb reason, running around to the same bushes every time they respawn does nothing to promote exploration, if they were talking about mushrooms/thistles it would make more sense since afaik those dont respawn

In may Musrooms respawned

personally i downloaded the mod to be able to plant them and it felt really overpowered but i still use it to get 2 berries from each bush so its a little less tedious to run around and collect them... i mean it is a berry BUSH kinda makes sense that you might just find more than one in there lol
