Keep up the great work

Despite all the trolls that slam the forum, this game is great and the progress is spectacular.

This is an early access game. You want a complete experience, then don't buy the game until its not open access.

To the Dev's: Your method is not broken don't fix it because of nasty people on the forums.

To add more people to the project will divert from the awesome game you guys have already created. This keeps the game on track and seamless from its original intent.

Loving it still this long in, bugs any and all, slowed progress due to fixing rather than new content new content building on a broken system (aka sim city and such).

Respectfully

I mean that's been the main point of contention - they didn't keep up the great work.

what work ? the work that they put in to get this game to the state it is currently at. even without any updates i already got a lot more than the value of 20$ out of this and the mods you mention will only push this further

Agreed, which is why I posted this, too many people always only negative. This is a lot of game for only 20 bucks.

The mod community does everything out of passion and is producing far more than the original devs. They have produced a great game but piggy backing on the success of sales still at this point with no content to show for it after the fact is a bad business move. I have about 750 hours currently. And about half of that is just working with mods to put my own content in because devs are nowhere to be seen. Either make the game mod compatible w/ proper support or produce more. I'd have zero issue forking 20$ per expansion or whatever if that gets it sped up. Early access argument can only stand for so much longer. That can be seen from how low the concurrent players status is.

If you read the patch notes you might have caught that they are working on bugs and unforeseen issues that have arisen due to the amount of people jumping on board all at once.

Personally I would rather have them iron out the issues rather than just constantly pushing new constant to cover over problems (sim city prime example).

This all comes down to opinions. Mine is just coming from an appreciation standpoint.

And if *you* read the patch notes, you might have caught that they've barely done anything regarding bugs and such, either. Which isn't to say it was a particularly buggy game to begin with or that there's any reason they can't work on both aspects.

My opinion is from the standpoint that the only reason I bought this game was the promise of there being more in the future - promises that they've so far completely failed to even vaguely begin delivering on, even by their most conservative estimates at the time. If you're happy with what's already there alone, that's great, I'm happy for you. Just understand other people may not be and are going to be rightfully miffed and feel cheated.

all the trolls/complainers have the same anime avatars. but a few did have a couple valid points: push more content and stop breaking the game with bugs.

Spectacular is way too strong word for lack of content updates. And next planned content update will add furniture or something, as if we playing The Sims.

I agree that was kinda the fun part chasing it down when it bails at 40% hp.

502 hours, I have died a lot I have learned from it as well, I enjoy sailing and building and clearing dungeons, it's a fun solo or group game as well.

I enjoy the game. But I really have to wonder about the spectacular progress you mention. It’s pretty much the same game I bought. I’m sure they are working on it but give credit only where credit is due.
