I have been really enjoying a seed somebody else came up with, BESTOFBEST. I am terrible at using the boats and this seed requires minimum sailing. My husband comes to my world to sail for me when I need it though, LOL.

had a nice testrun about that and ended up using seed (its not a joke)

FWIW I believe the bees and old houses are purely random and not unique to the seed. You'll find *something* in the same places but not necessarily the same amount of resources.

This one I got that has a tiny starter island. Played 15 - 20 different worlds so far and this was the only one like this.


Had one seed with a plains completely surrounded by Mountains and a bit of black forest.. that was pretty unique as well. Haven't seen a ring of mountains like that since.

Another seed I had was a black forest jutting into a swamp with lots of copper, surrounded on three sides by a large swamp with lots of iron crypts. That was pretty nice.
Made for a good base, you can see on the mini map how it is surrounded by swamp.

testet and housetypes and bees are set in the seed - allways find them in the same houses
the random thing is that the houses are rotated everytime ive checked
and of course chest content may vary

there is one village with a maypole i still have to check if the pole is there everytime

Heh - that is super bizarre. I wonder if they've been gradually updating world gen to nail more things to the seed and rotation just slipped through the net. World's strangest wheel of fortune.

thats what ive discovered yet - when testing the seed several times
funny stuff

also oaks apear to be at the same place every time and the seed got many of em

so once a good seed is found one can depend on that this seed will stay the same every time the map is generated
