How introduce a new player to valheim?
A friend is starting to play valheim today.
We want to play together, but i already am at the swamp biome gathering iron and (mostly) dying to those mobs there.
My world has already 80hours plus playtime.
How should i ntroduce my friend valheim?
Should we start on a new map? Or should he start in my world with already 2 bosses dead and exploring already swamps?
Can he use the boss buff in my world when he didnt kill the boss?
He will be on his own soon enough, because i have no server and when im not hosting he cant play.
I know that the char progress and the inventory can carry over to new worlds.

Thanks for the ideas.
I also think he should exp. the slow and painful start and also die often as i did xD
We will propably start on his world and play until we kill 1 or 2 bosses, but we will see when he starts today then we will decide.

Kill them with trees!
Lure trolls to them!
Don't tell them about the leeches!
Take a stroll in the swamp at night with them!
Enjoy a snowball fight in the mountains with drakes!
Pet some doggies while you're there!
What's in that cave!?

Start a new character on a new map. Let them learn the ropes from the start without cheesing what you already know. It's far more satisfying, IMO.
Everything is tied to the map, not the player, so if your friend joins your map, he will miss out on the beginning stages of the game, but he can use the drops you've gotten.

Go with your premade? so you can wow with shiny things? :D
there's a grind at the start, do you want him doing that as a first go?
2 bosses isn't to advanced, unless your walking around in iron.
when you add someone mobs get harder, i guess mobs lose that extra skill when that person is also removed?
ask him if he wants to see some shiny stuff or start from scratch

I would start a new world and bring only 4 items; 2 bows and the belts. I just hate having to sneak up on deer and hope that they die to one swing
Starting from the beginning means your friend has the chance to learn things from the start and not diving straight ahead to the deep end of things. It is a whole new experience

How should i ntroduce my friend valheim?Thats how I would do it. Fresh, unspoilt starter experience. You could offer to jump to a more advanced world after killing Eiktyr and some initial rumaging into the dark forsts.

The way my friend and I did it was I stuffed all of my equipment into a box, then started fresh on her world with the same character and only used the stuff we had there. When I'd switch back, I'd throw everything there in a box and reverse it.
