If you use mods its allways sensefull to start from scratch with a major patch
Without mods... well it can reduce possible data trash in the character save.
On the other hand its much work to skill all up (except you use cheats or mods)

New character ? Nope , in my case ill use my main character with their skills
New world ? Will be more easy to find new content because my old seed was like 60% explored and its pretty hard find tar pits
Surely ill look for a good seed and go with my old character without equipment

No, other than to get a better feel for all the changed mechanics, you won't miss out on anything with the same character.
One simple tip since they don't mention it in the patch notes, no more button spamming for attacks/mining/loading stuff, and so forth. Just hold that baby down

I heard there might have been new encyclopedia entries gained from the raven when starting the game or something, but haven't had it confirmed yet. That's what I'm wondering the most, since that can't be unlocked other than at creation afaik.

Does the auto loot toggle make you pick up everything or is there still the short delay after dropping something that keeps you from picking it back up?
