How can Valheim not be included in Survival Fest Sale... I am so dissapointed.. :(

It's included in the steam sales page, maybe it will update in few hours.

Yes, not on sale this time. I've asked, and it's most likely because they simply forgot to opt-in in early June (when the sale was announced by Valve) and couldn't opt-in after because Coffee Stain Publishing too was on vacation in the last 4-5 weeks. They're all (Iron Gate too) back now, btw.

It is a survival game, the genre survival is very broad yes, suppose i could've specified and said that it's not a "true(?)" survival game. I mean, terraria is tagged as a survival game demonstrating just how vague the survival genre is. But like i said, food or water aren't a necessity, they're merely buffs. So yes it is a survival game, but i'd say that surviving isn't the main focus of the game, exploring, building and crafting are. Survival means just living anyways, hence why the whole genre is so broad.

I remember reading a reply a moderator made that IGS will be back in 2 weeks - or back to work (around the 16th or something), i don't know what thread it was in, possibly was deleted or something, but i do remember seeing that, vaguely anyways.

You are probably referring to this comment? I was talking about when to expect the new blog post, not when they're back (just said soon in that regard).

Anyway, next sale will be Winter Sale I assume. Steam Next Fest starts on 3rd Oct, but only upcoming games are eligible (don't think EA counts as upcoming since accessable already). Dates for the Winter Sale are TBA.

Yeah that comment, couldn't remember it word for word apart from the two weeks, so thanks for the clarification.

Some would question if this game really was a survival.

Although I would guess Valve just pulled this one out of the nether regions and caught IG on vacation or it probably would have been included anyway.

The bundle is on sale though ha ha.
