Fixed in Patch 0.206.5 14th Dec 2021 == perfection. :)

(not any issue so far. the music does not reset over game session or gameplay day anymore. so it plays far less for objects you already discovered/walked by.)

Checkbox option would be great. The fix is there (to some degree) it now plays the Discovery Music ONCE per object/building, but per gamesession. If you quit and start again, it will play the music again for already discovered objects/buildings. It's better and the transition got fixed, but it still bothers me. Playing with music turned off.

A simple option to only deactivate the discovery music would be great.

I think this needs definitely more work. (only thing that bothers me about Valheim ^^)

According to Munin the fix is already coded and will drop in the next patch.

First thing I did was turn music off.. I have no idea what any of it sounds like ha ha.

Well playing without the music is an option, just one you don't want to use.

If you want to play without any music, if you go into the options menu, you can set the music volume level anywhere you want, including zero. Can adjust sound effects volume as well.
