And yes raids can happen any give time or day.

On day 1 you can spawn the boss if you want to, but it dont just spawn.

mobs like greylings and other mobs are always there day 1, but you wander into the blaack forest, always been like that. Dont go into or near black forest till you are read.
A raid on day one is not much of a problem, since its just live stock attacking.

Unless its a server, then yes this game is best play in solo or with friends and not randoms, i need more context then what ever you wrote.
