Mountains without wishbone

if i now visit mountains without iron and wishbone, so i am not on current level (not kill previous boss), i want hutn only wolves. After when i will have wishbone, will silver be there on mountains, or not when i visited mountains without that "level". Or silver will spawn on mountains only after kill bonemass

silver will be in the mts, provided they are tall enough. you can go there anytime and find it. you just need an iron pick to mine it.

You heard wrong. The silver is spawned on map creation, like copper or iron. It doesn't depend on a boss kill. The wishbone only helps you find it, it doesn't spawn it.

The Wishbone you get from Bonemass helps you find where Silver Ore is buried, it doesn't encourage it to start appearing in the Mountain Biomass. Unlike Copper spawning in a huge node or Iron appearing in Scrap Piles in dungeons, Silver is buried underground and in a long snake-like formation.

With that, once you've found and begin uncovering Silver, you can dig underneath and around it until you have it fully exposed (end to end), if you dig one of the edges the whole thing will break almost in one go. Be sure to bring a Cart or mark the location as you cannot use a portal to bring it back, same as all forms of Metal.

The wishbone is incredibly useful for finding hidden things, makes silver hunting a breeze, also hidden scrap iron in the swamps and chest in the medows

Silver spawns when the mountain is tall enough. If you find obsidian and golems, then you are high enough to start looking for silver. Use the stagbreaker to thump the ground and look for Too Hard messages. This will show up for silver and for obsidian. So if you get that message and there's no obsidian next to you, then start digging.

Added: You will have a hard time mining the silver without an iron pickax though.

It would be much better if it worked in conjunction with the megingjord. I also tend to wander around quite a while trying to pinpoint the exact location. With the stagbreaker you just pound ground until you hit the right spot then dig. Quick, easy, and you don't have to remove your megingjord.

Forgive me, I realize others have answered your question already, but Yes the silver is there naturally you can find it too before Bonemass it’s just buried.

My favorite trick. I like to use the wishbone and the stag breaker. I run around find the approximate locations and pinpoint it faster with the hammer. The wishbone saves so much time finding the location of the deposits. But it’s terrible at pinpoint accuracy.

You find silver near golem spawns. If you see a golem, there is a high chance there is silver near by. Hammer flat areas around the area. You wil likely find some, just grab a handful of ore so you can make a butcher table. Then you can open your food options and health pool. Then you can more safely explore. Also consider a heist on a Fuling village for barley you can make some barley wine for exploring the caves and getting the Fenrir armor (easier to get mt tier armor). I personally love playing outside the normal way of going by the biome.

If you want to get *REALLY BALLsy* you can actually use seeker soldiers to mine iron from the Mistlands before even getting to the swamp. They are strong enough to break Mistlands stuff so you can use them to break the jotunn stuff for easy scrap and the dwarven stuff breaks down into copper scrap. There are areas in the Mistlands with little to no mist, so you can get into these areas with careful use of the cragrocks.

Basically, you can do some incredibly risky but rewarding bypassing of the normal game progression with some daring risk. just watch out for seekers. They are too fast and strong for much combat. The soldiers are slow and easily dodgeable so you can safely use them for mining stuff. Just mind the headbutt, it tracks well
