Devs are way too slow for adding any value long term on this game.
Almost no QoL improvements 2 years after getting released.
- Keymapping list is still incomplete
- UI (except the map) is really terrible and look like dev art
- Inventory is small with no expansion and heavy inventory management
(WE DONT WANT MORE BOAR/GREYLING TROPHIES WHEN I ALREADY HAVE 6 CHEST FULL OF THEM!)
- No quick deposite all of the same type for chest management (sure is fun doing this one by one for 200 hours).
- Stats progression needs so much revision, it's in a terrible state
- Server lag in coop when 3 players or more are in the same map (you need external tools to decompile the .dll and fix their bandwidth cap and even then it's laggy with 5 or 6.
We got 1 Biome expansion and some deco/food since February 2, 2021.
You guys sold 10 million copies but still have not invested in a proper team and interesting roadmap.
Worst? You don't even provide support for all the broken laggy servers plaguing this game for so long.
Valheim is a fraction of what it could have been and I'm done waiting for any meaningful improvements.

I do wish they would improve farming but mods do that for me now. I don't know about coop but as to more biomes I'm content to wait and do something else until they finish...or just explore a new map.

If you censor it here, it will be my review of the game then.

> Keymapping list is still incomplete
It's fine to me.
> UI (except the map) is really terrible and look like dev art
I like it, it looks simple yet passionate, a nice break from obsessively shiny AAA gaming UIs.
> Inventory is small with no expansion and heavy inventory management (WE DONT WANT MORE BOAR/GREYLING TROPHIES WHEN I ALREADY HAVE 6 CHEST FULL OF THEM!)
All survival games eventually have you accumulate junk items, including Minecraft itself. But in Valheim you can get the obliterator and turn all junk items into useful coal.
>Stats progression needs so much revision, it's in a terrible state

I've never had an issue with multiplayer.
>We got 1 Biome expansion and some deco/food since February 2, 2021.
This game has more than enough content as is to keep people satisfied for a while, it's still a heavily-played title on Twitch and Steam, so obviously the community is content with the content we currently have until an expansion can roll around.
>Valheim is a fraction of what it could have been and I'm done waiting for any meaningful improvements.
I sink literal weeks into this game when I play it, if this is a "fraction of what it could have been" that "fraction" is super damn amazing.
It's fine to me.
