- Adds clutter to your inventory due to there being more types of meat and the necessity to carry more than 3 food items
- Previous system was unintrusive. Food was useful and important without requiring much in the way of harvesting chores (it seems so far like there's going to be more unnecessary gathering)

I also don't find the tower shield changes particularly useful but I can see how it would be helpful in multiplayer.

Either way I know this update is pretty much here to stay regardless I'm just probably going to be installing the first classic food mod anyone puts out.
