Just got my first Silver. What should by my building priorities?
Greetings All!
I just got my first silver (about 120 ingots). What should my prioritized list of "things to build" be?
I'm hearing the Wolf Cape would definitely be #1?
Some people are saying Frostner is over-rated (in my searches online), as its frost does nothing to mountain creatures and most plains creatures are immune?

Cape then Draugr Fang would be my choice.

The wolf chest piece gives you frost resistance making the wolf cape redundant.
Plus it looks goofy. Make it later to complete the set.
Frostner is fun but frost arrows do the same thing from a distance.
Where did you get the idea Plains critters are immune to frost? I think
Yagluth is but goblins/beserkers/shamans are not. You can one shot shamans
with frost arrows and slow down beserkers and kill them with 4 or 5 arrows.
electricdawn is right: make/upgrade the armor and shield. your iron club and
bow will do the job against wolves and drakes; golems can be a problem, if you
kill them they respawn so lead them into a trap they can't get out of or maybe
parry them off the mountain so they can't climb back up: no more golems
a lot of people like the silver sword and D Fang is the best bow to use for Moder
but not really necessary until then
you need some silver for a cauldron upgrade; don't forget that
you'll find LOTS of silver while looking for those elusive Frost caves

Congrats on finding your first silver!
Just my 2 cents, but I prioritized the Draugr Fang bow first and then worked on the armor and upgrading it. Crafting and upgrading silver weapons seemed (at the time) to be really expensive as far as the amount of silver needed, so that was last in line for me.

The armor chest piece, then you no longer need the potions. The cape makes you look like a dog is having its way with you. I never make it any more.

Finewood bow lvl 3 works perfectly against drakes. But then I already got tons of needle arrows. ;)
Armor first is definitely recommended, unless you always want to craft and track(!) your frost potions. Yes, iron armor will do fine against wolves and drakes, but for golems I would recommend the silver shield and wolf armor.

You have enough to do whatever.
Now if you only had some silver, then I'd say the cauldron upgrade/butcher's table.
The next level of food is always best IMO as well as cheap upgrade. Course after that the cloak is not a bad idea since it takes so little silver. I see above some say chest piece but the lvl 1 chest piece is same as upgraded iron, so IMO ==> butcher's and wolf cape. Then shield and then a weapon(s). Last is armor.

wolf cape is cheap to make just for frost resistance
Draugr Fang is the best bow in the game at the moment - be sure to have it.
armor set is decent, but practically you don't really need to upgrade it on my opinion
melee weaponry pretty good, but it's questionable what to make first. Silver sword is good and helpful on Yagluth. Frostner is good in swamps and you really will return there.

Chest for frost resist, with the troll cape it looks better than Zaphod Beeblebrox cape.
Shield
Food upgrade
Fang
rest of armor
rest of whatever weapons

IDK capes really don't do much for armor anyway. Wow... Am I the only one who thinks that the wolf cape looks awesome? :D
Lox and wolf are just a waste of silver to me.
I roll with troll until linen.

Nah, I prefer it. The troll cape looks like you beat up some kid and threw his torn pajamas on your back. Id take anything over the early tier ones. I do like the Lox one too, but still prefer the wolf in the end. Wow... Am I the only one who thinks that the wolf cape looks awesome? :D
While players call Frostner overrated, I typically never collect enough iron to have iron weapons and usually still have bronze at this point. Given I always make Frostner before fighting Bonemass, it’s a worthwhile option if you’re looking for a weapon. There aren’t silver tools to prioritize, so really the options are free and open for you to choose. Like that crystal axe? Friggin craft that instead. The only priority things to make is something with frost resistance and the butcher table. With the cloak and table, that’s only 15 silver or so. Gives you the other 100 to do whatever you want. All silver weapons deal spirit damage for swamp mobs and that axe makes short work of those abominations out there. Frostner is a weapon you can use all game and the slow from the frost attack more than makes up for enemies being resistant. It’s like being able to stagger an enemy on every hit, without the critical hits. Each hit pushes enemies back and slows them, preventing them from just running back at you. Very helpful for your first wolf raid. I’d argue players calling it overrated are only looking at the damage stats, when there’s more to the weapon.

If you already got 120 silver, just build the armor, max it out, then craft whatever you want. If you don't have a decent shield (lvl 3 iron banded shield) go with the shield first. If you have decent lvl 3 iron weaponry, weapons should come last. Armor is more important since it will protect you from the cold.
Once you done all that, the Draugr Fang is recommended for Moder.
The rest is up to you.
