They should make berry bushes and wall vines plantable as part of the base game. It would look really nice as part of some builds. I am aware there is a mod for this, but mods in early access is risky especially when you're putting a lot of hours into a world.

Bringing every type of forage to your base farm has been denied (check the pinned thread in suggestions), but some kind of decorative wall vines would be fine.

I wouldn't mind being able to plant the non-berry bushes as part of decor though. It satisfies the builder in me without sacrificing the need to go out gathering that the devs are trying to preserve.

They regenerate the berry crop but if you cut them down, it won't come back. Don't cut them down?!

Not sure what you mean... berries regrow, it just takes a few in-game days.

Are you talking about the bushes themselves? If so, you're out of luck; if you destroyed the bush, it's gone. Go find some more bushes, mark their location on the map, and don't fight or chop down trees near them.

This is not the first time this has been brought up. They want us to have to go out and explore.. I know it sounds ridiculous but that is the reasoning.
