Nope them are fine to their biome , if you or yoyr dad havent mountain tier armor dont trip in the plains

They hit hard, but are easily blocked (if you have the right gear indeed) and very squishy

dont rush in. be ready. they are easy.
if i can survive plains in troll armor. you can too,
LOOK around. slowly wake in. dont go at night.

They are just fine, the dev team already have started to make the game easier then the easy mode it already is with some of the tweaks they made last patch.

Learn when to either block there attack and also when to swing your weapon either after they attack or a few seconds before they attack and you will be fine. Then also take time to learn to use your bow against them. Then things get a whole lo easier.

People say they are easy, problem is they 1 shot kill you if you aren't on guard. Learning when to block requires you to be on guard immediately which isn't always easily the case when distracted by other creatures attacking you. You literally have to not focus on what you are already fighting to solely focus on the deathsquito, which can be difficult at times. I've literally heard the buzzing and 2 seconds later i'm dead. Do I think they should be dumbed down no...but the simple fact that they insta kill you in one hit is ridiculous. Even the most seasoned players can screw up from lack of focus and wind up insta dead. It's not about them being easy, it's about them being one shot killers. Maybe what they could do is give players more of a warning, like a louder buzzing sound from further away...instead of literally giving players 2-3 seconds to shift focus...it can be difficult in the heat of the moment fighting 5 other things in front of you.
