Yeah it's insane lol, people been yelling about this since launch. Easiest change and would be a major crowd pleaser / make the game playable again. Yet, afaik, there's still never been an official response to this, so you have to use mods to get around it...

I worked years in a Animal-Shelter and you know I was so happy when I just had my peace at home~. My coworkers said that at some point you no longer hear this. But nope, I always heard it ...

And to make this experience now in a game again was so annoying for me that I was sometimes really pissed on people who have made mass breeding with wolves on our server near me ...

I find the cooking sizzle extremely useful when I've gone off to do something else in my base while my food is cooking.

True I just tamed a bunch of them now they wont stop lmao.

This is entirely true. Even the wild versions don't howl quite this much. I think it'd be better if they howled when they actually see something, like the wild ones do. Otherwise, we've culled the group several times just because they're so annoying.

Yes, this needs to be disabled when they are penned up/bred. The more wolves that appear, the less space between them howling constantly. It is very VERY annoying. Right now I am trying to get the pelts I need, then will slay them all just to have peace again. The constant howling ruins the breeding aspect of wolves.

this game has a lot of annoying sound effects that need some work, things are playing of WAY to often in general. rustling grass sounds near water, barking deer nonstop... ugh

Even 1 wolf SPAMS its howl non-stop. I had to build a barn very far away so i couldnt hear them.

Untamed wolves absolutely should howl a lot, i want to know where they are based on audio cues when i cant see em.

Tamed wolves behave exactly the same however. If their howl can be disabled or toned down when tamed it would fix this.

YES!!!! For the love of Odin! DEVS: please, please, please, please disable tamed wolf howling, or at least limit it to full moons? It's driving me insane!!! I don't want to relocate my wolves or slaughter them all because I cannot take the sound anymore. It's really killing my overall game experience while within my home base.
