Yeah, on one map I found an elder right next to a plains. Had to find another one, but luckily the other one was by a swamp with crypts.

I was concerned because this map has been real screwy. was worried it might glitch out on me again. like where i built my black forest base i thought was on the edge of the black forest. turns out it was just a large triangle of black forest that held just a crypt and a troll. so i clear cut that and found another black forest across the map. been real odd.

You can find multiples of every boss, even the first one, Eikthyr (only thing is the first boss only has one vegvisir guide stone, so the other summon locations for it have to be found via exploration and marked by yourself on the map).

Yep, there can be multiple boss locations, those runes will point you to the closest.
