HELP: Dedicated Server - permittedlist.txt
Good morning, folks, or whatever timezone you're living in.
I need help with the dedicated server of Valheim. Specifically with the three text files that allow you to set who is admin, who is even permitted to enter the server and who is banned.
My problem: I have no idea WHAT to put in those files. I tried my Steam user name, the number that is the name of the folder in userdata and none of them work.
What is the correct user id I need to put in there? Your help is, as always, greatly appreciated.

check your acc,details there you find your steam id right under your name

Gah! Didn't see that. Thank you very much.
Found it out myself through process of elimination, but with a very convoluted path. There is an owner id in the .acf files that go with your games. That is the ID that you are referring to.
Not sure why I overlooked that number right under my name. That was the first place I looked. Getting old and getting blind probably is the answer. ;)
