That has nothing to do with the game. Has to do with steam cloud, one of the worst features put forward by steam.

1- Might have, depends of the server you join, just ask for a friendly discord channel and play with friends and you should be safe

3- Technically, yes and no. It has an end in terms of getting more stuff but I think there are a few biomes which haven't been populated with enemies yet afaik. There will be at least two or three more biomes with new materials and such.
4- The graphics are simple, but many people find them easy to the eye and I quite like it

I only played solo so far so I can't speak about experiencing the game with others, but maybe I'll give it a try to find a nice group to join someday and have fun together.

You have to be carefull where you die and how you die, worst case scenario would be meeting a sea serpent in mid ocean with no island nearby, heard that they keep "guarding" your tombstone, if that happens you can call for help and people can help you deal with the serpent and get your gear back, so community wise it doesn't sound so bad.

I got killed by a deathsquito yesterday when I missed my aim and it killed me with two hits, also I'm still trying to get to the second boss but there's a lot of swamps and plains in the middle of the way, I'm getting a lot more harder map generation this time then my earlier try

I would advise against getting the game at its current state.

It exploded due to hype, it has amazing first time experience, but once the honey moon period ends, realization hits that it is just another shallow, empty world explorer simulator.

Sure, you can build some elaborate things, but if you are not strictly builder player, you will regret getting the game at current state. I do regret it. It was worth the cost to hours spent, but otherwise, keep in mind its "just another early access game full of potential" which might never be realized.

I tend to disagree personally. I really enjoy starting a new world and exploring. Finding biome resources well placed really changes the gameplay from transport sim to logistical outpost building. This means each RNG created world is unique to me.

It all comes down to play style though. If you play a game just to beat it and move on it is a lot different than a person who enjoys the journey for what it is.

Nothing wrong with either viewpoint.

1600+ hrs here and still enjoying the game

1) Yes there are trolls, they're big, blue and live in the Black Forest, it will only have Bot Players, if you give their owners the password to your game. If you meant Internet Trolls, again, if you invite them in Yes.... if not.... No.

Every game will have those fanboy elements who will troll you if you diss their favorite game, there is no changing that, as you might actually see below in the additional comments at the mere mentioning of the term 'Fanboy' where if you have a complaint about them or the game, they will try to reword your complaint, so it sounds like the problem is you.

2) This game welcomes noobs, if you are the type of player who refuses to learn about game/enemy mechanics, its going to love you. Yes Deathsquitos hit hard, IF you 1) don't hear their obvious flying sound coming in your direction, 2) Have entered their biome horribly under equipped and 3) are dumb enough to carry absolutely everything on your person all the time IE leave the crap you don't need right now, back in your house.

Oh and dont think that because goblins are walk over content in every other game that the same applies here, then whine about it after they give your booty a good seeing to.

The number of whining little bishes (real world begins with a B and ryhmes with Witches) on the forums, this killed me, thats over powered. The game is one of those, Easy to Play, Hard to Master types, if you allow it to be hard, aka Learn to Play or shut up Bish

3) Its still in development, so who knows if there is a grand scheme of things ending, I imagine when it gets closer to Full Release maybe there is an end goal to collecting all those boss trophies, kinda of ascension back to the living world or the actual afterlife

4) As per 1) If you let them into your game....... but usually, unless the server is running the applicable mod, the command console is disabled during multiplayer

This is not an MMO

Servers are 10 people max and most people use passwords to prevent trolling.
There are no official servers only ones hosted by players.

Lots of people solo, no bots needed.

It does have trolls, they live in the black forest and can be fairly annoying at times but they do make nice cloaks.

3. More game to come, not finished. The game so far is well polished though.

4. The small install size is due to using smaller resources. Your world is created when you create your game save. Those files can get large and numerous since you can play multiple worlds and multiple characters. World and character saves are separate so you can use any character in any world you create or use your character in other peoples worlds.

Think of it as a third person 3D Terraria in terms of multiplayer and basic game loop. Except you're exploring a surface map of islands and seas instead of digging into caves.

Just checked my save data sizes and they are pretty small as well, really is down to using optimized resources... really is amazing when you consider how good the game can look.
