Thats silly question. Why you dont do what you enjoy?

i enjoy longship but i need iron. you can easily get one shot by things. so suggestions are welcome. im still not familiar with swamp folk.

save your bronze for a bronze buckler and bronze axe. you'll manage with troll armor, just try and scout the swamps for a crypt safely from a distance, either with a boat or if it touches another biome, just walk around. you want to get into a crypt as fast as possible. take plenty arrows, pickaxes, and poison res pots

and go during the day.. Its much harder at night, more spawns etc.

Neither does bronze. Skipping Bronze with a set of Troll armor +1 is perfectly viable. Against Draugr you need to avoid getting hit. Especially anything with a star will seriously hurt you even with a full Set of Bronze armor +3

Its viable but take care because food nerf make it full tier , 2 hp food and 1 stamina its the best to help you there , tasty me/ads anti poison and some stamina/health potions

Upgrade a bronze pickaxe, weapon, and shield. Skip the rest and keep to wearing upgraded troll hide. Use your first trip into the swamp to figure out where to get some higher tier food ingredients and figure out how the fermenter can be useful to you. Once you have made some higher tier consumables you should be able to push through crypts with casual ease.

Once you have some iron use it to fill out your armour slots, before then working on another new weapon and shield for the next boss. It isn't until the next biome that it becomes essential to move onto iron tools like the pickaxe.
