Hammer the ground, the stuff pops up - then just run around and collect. Or just hold the "e" and collect everything that way.

what are you using so much for? Bread is a resource hog, but most of the rest is not so consuming. I mostly use a little in lox pies and the odd fire potion batch.

use the polearms spin to win move. it works on barley. speeds the process up greatly. it wont get damaged by doing that.

i mean you get 2 barley per plant. i find carrots and onions much more of a slog to plant and harvest myself.

puffs are stupid easy compared.

plus i am planting over 500 plants at a time.

500 ? what do you need a 1000 barley for?

well it takes forever to grind up and i like bread fish raps and lox meat pies for the mist lands.

that will last me awhile and i don't have to go back and plant or harvest more.

Yup spending some time getting at least a chest of barley before starting to use it takes some time, but after that it's great. We are just lucky they don't make us weed and water the damned stuff. Works well as it is. Mod it or just cheat it in if you have to have more without doing any work.

Its just one of those tasks you have to do like mining copper.. I'll feed my lox so that they breed while I harvest and replant.

i am considering making a lox breeder for meat but i am worried it will be useless in the ashlands.

planting is easy. if u know how. harvesting is pain. It is too slow.
