Leafy-Ivy growing on abandoned structures

Not sure about anyone else but I would love to be able to use it for decorating.

I'd also really like to be able to plant 'bushes' for decoration.

That's it hehe. I know...not a very epic post but meh. :)

If any you have ever lived in a house that has Ivy It is a pain in the rear. It will eventually overgrow the house and needs to be constantly trimmed and is it infestation place for rats. If they implemented it in the game, it would need to be planted with the cultivator. It would time to grow but eventually need to be trimmed. This latter part not so sure about

Agreed :)

And along that line of thinking; I tend to 'play' games like this longer when I can have more options for creating. It somehow makes me more immersed in the game, which leads me to playing it for longer then a game with a set plot and story. I can literally play good survival games with excellent building and creating options for hundreds and hundreds of hours and never get bored.

And since we are talking decorations, allow me to say I really love how the building pieces in this game line up so well, even with the ground. Excellent programming. I am very impressed with Valheim all around but the building is top-notch.

It would be cool if they added the ivy application to the cultivator. It really is a nice touch.

I could see it being difficult to implement, so I wouldn't hold your breath over it... but it would be nice.

I wouldn't mind that actually. Maybe craftable similar to the maypole or something. Would look sick on a house in the swamp.

Besides, ivy should disappear when its support is removed, with no need to actually destroy it.

I agree, I have "repaired" a few of these ruined building to keep the look, but they are never in the places I want to build a camp.

It is a pretty good topic though. I wonder if they've thought about it for the H&H update? A viking longhouse isn't complete without a few rose bushes at the sides :-/
