It's NOT a pvp type of game... its a solo / coop-with-friends type game. The option to turn on friendly fire is already there but, obviously it is intended for players who all agree to it, and individually switch it on.

It's not daft for the devs to create the game as they envisioned it, and it certainly hasn't hurt their sales whatsoever. There are thousands of games that offer PVP as it's main feature, but this is not one of them.

You can turn on friendly fire if you want. But afaik, there are no plans for any PvP-focused content.

Create a server with friendly fire active, advertise it here and see what happens.

But without some over reaching goal things just tend to get grief filled on PvP servers (which come people like - ie Rust).

I suppose you could set up two rival 'kingdoms' and have them fight over certain geographical areas agreed upon before hand.
