Real talk, achievements would be really cool in this game. Imagine getting an achievement for hunting a deer from over 100 yards away, that would be so rad. Or achievements for collecting the various trophies, etc. I like the aimless feel of the game as it is, but I think adding a few achievements (easy ones you could get just by playing the game as well as difficult ones you might have to seek out) would really help spice up the gameplay. "World Traveler" for seeing all the biomes, "Homesteader" for making a shelter with over 10 comfort, "Ace" for shooting a bird while it's flying, stuff like that...

They most probably will introduce achievements but that won't happen until the game is near completion most likely but i do like the way you are thinking.

They most probably will introduce achievements but that won't happen until the game is near completion most likely but i do like the way you are thinking.

My hope is that by the time Valheim leaves Early Access we will have achievements and trading cards! But even if we don't, that superfluous stuff won't stop me from loving this game anyways
