Where are the ruin and PoI mods?
I can't find any mods that add extra ruins, dungeons, or points of interest to the game, even though there are TONS of mods that add building pieces and a couple that allow you to export your buildings.
Am I missing something? I've checked Nexus and Thunderstore and the only things I could find were a few biome mods that don't work with the Mistlands update. Are the PoI mods labelled as something else? Or are there really no mods that add new explorable buildings and dungeons to world generation?

There's nothing technical stopping this, it's just the game is still in flux and world gen hasn't filled in all the biomes that are expected to exist yet. Even in Minecraft the dungeon and ruins mods have to be rebuilt every few versions, it's probably just that no-one wants to build on shifting sands.

More like you dont know what your doing, since I know like 5 Servers with 10+ ppl using that exact mod which btw was updated 2 weeks ago.
You're probably right, feel free to post some info on how I could correct it. All I'm doing is using f2modman's mod manager and trying to generate worlds using expandedworlds and Monstrum.

I meant Monsternomicon, which is dependent on Monstrum and other mods like Expandedworlds

Krumpac has a free dungeon mod ,and Monsterlabz also place two caves on ashlands

Yeah there doesn't seem to be any up to date ones, the only ones I could find like Expanded World crash the game with invalid argument exceptions because they're pre-mistlands

Yes, all world seeds are the same size.
Thanks, are they as big as a proc gen seed world and do they have the same amount of PoI's?
They will still have all the original stuff in the game. They are pre-made in terms of builds you will visit on your way. You will be progressing the game and switching from base to base which are already there waiting for you to claim them. There will be minimal requirements for building (mostly upgrades to crafting benches).
Thanks for the rec, looking at "world saves" mods there's a few others as well as Olde Road like "Valheim Exploration World" and "Eventyr"

Don't you think it's weird how there's no way to add to the game's default list of buildings/ruins/dungeons that automatically spawn upon world creation? Other similar games like Minecraft, Empyrion, and 7DTD allow this.
Don't you think its weird to compare a relatively new early access game to two that are fully released and one that's been in development for over 10 years?
Adding PoI's on world gen would mean having to know everything about how the world gen code works and how to add to it without messing anything up, and that world gen code changes as the game is updated.
We don't know what extra features the devs will work on after the actual game is finished.

You can go to nexus and download one of pre-made worlds. I played The Olde Road and Shattered World maps and they were amazing.
I highly recommend The Olde Road without a map.

I can say only for The Olde Road because I didn't play Shattered World how it was supposed to be played (I modded it and skipped the authors idea on how it should be played).
The Olde Road was meant to be played with no-map because you are practically following the road and claiming bases on your way. There are also some "side-quests" and hidden weapons/armors. All the bosses are on the road so you won't struggle to find them. Also, most of the dungeons are on the road so it will be easy to haul your ores back to the base.
So for The Olde Road you can say it is hold-my-hand kind of experience, but no-map makes it interesting and difficult sometimes. I played it after I already spent over 2000 hours in the game and it was pretty refreshing and nice. I think it took me less than 100 hours to finish it, but it was pre-mistlans. I guess now it is 100+ hours of casual play.

im unaware of a mod that will generate custom dungeons upon world generation.
the video creator has a patreon where you can download HIS custom dungeon pieces, but you'll still have to put them together after the world is generated.
if you dont want to spend money...and download his custom modular dungeon pieces (why would you), you can still build your own by following along with the video.
