rofl, X4 need 1-2 Minutes to create a savegame, and you encumber about a half second

lol, there are no slaves in Valheim, not even sleep slaves that work while you sleep :)

but on a more serious note, something indeed has to be done about the save lag, this is the only game I know where an autosave causes this much lag.

Just a question here... my save lag spike is very short.. less than a second.

If your time is much longer I wonder if you run mods or something that may be causing the issue to be worse?

not really, a lot of games have save times in the seconds scale. the difference is mostly just how intrusive that saving is.
