Update for everyone.
After experimenting a bit, I conclude that the boars's AI was probably tweaked so that now they won't clip to each other when turning their bodies.
This makes current boar spawner design obsolete because the boars are packed so tight that they cannot turn their bodies to eat food . Even putting food right in front of them doesn't work.

Well, that means we need a new design for the boar industry.

Just make a simple boar pen, i keep 10 **boars, which reproduce in about 15 or 16, then i kill those extra's. By the time i need meat again, they have restocked for another stack of raw meat. I don't see the need of these intricate designs to have a hundred boars to kill.

Well its time to hunt deers or make a traditional pen for boars

Looks like the dev's didn't like the hog farm idea, I mean i don't and they must of added a fix to it.
I just keep a flock of like 10, don't even kill them anymore, I kill so many deer, boars and wolves meats never run out same with the leather

Yes quite true, walls of 2x2, 2x4, or even 3x3 won't work. i've been experimenting a lot and looks like i found a solution for this problem. although not that efficient compared to previous designs, but this one is working.

I also can not get my boars in a breeder to eat carrots. The boars in the pen eat fine.

sorry. I also tried raspberries and it didnt work.
for mushroom, it was red ones.

My carrots seem to work fine, try those. Also nice just planting a small farm next to them for the occasion.

You give them a red or yellow mushrooms? They won't eat the yellow ones.

Others are reporting the same thing in the bugs sub-forum.
