World bug?

I got back onto the game after a couple of hours and my entire world reset back to original state except for map. Everything is loaded correctly but the world is just empty and repopulated with previously cut trees and rock. What can I do? I saw this bug also, in the past year somebody else has the same problem. Now I have the same problem. I was on 45x day.... AND I have cloud save... so I don't know what can I do now. Thank you for helping.

Genuinely sorry for your loss. And their is the reason. Cloud save simply is poison right now, at least to Valheim.

Please any who read this TURN- OFF- CLoud Save, you will have only a 99.99% chance of keeping your progress with it off. as oppsed to about 50/50 with it on..

did you local save at any point. the latest patch offers you 2 points to save one via starting gane, and the other in game at any point you like.

So world files are in 3 (at least places)

1) Single Player using January 2023 versions and beyond
C:\Users\***\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds_local

2) Single Player using Steam cloud saves here
https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage

3) now Single Player and Multi Player ALSO apparently save to here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\yourSteamIDnumber\892970\remote

*** If havent played in over a year? theres a pinned doc..where is my save file... yours is on the .old style pre Hearth n home..
4) OLD STYLE C:\Users\***\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds

Good luck and Skall!
