EA for over 2 years.
Title is self-explanatory. When will the "Full" version of this game finally released? Please no aggressive comments, I really enjoyed this game, I've just been waiting for it to be completed fully before going back.

You realise most of the huge gaming companies A) are ♥♥♥♥, and, B) take 5 to 10 years to develop a game - right???Title is self-explanatory. Probably the most honest answer is "Never" unless they combine with a huge gaming company or a huge game company will buy them.

Na, don't say never. Years ago I bought a little game here, early acces too, it was a one man project. This guy started his first project, sold some copies and there was no big business. Feedback running with e-mail and the game were finished after ~4 years.
I think Valheim find his way, but take a bit longer, because they changed something after the big success and need new push.
I would say it's never get finished if there is a official post or no post after 2 years... ^^ But for now, set the sails!

id wager about 1.5-2 years. They have two biomes to complete and they are pretty slow.

No forumites know for sure. We would just be guessing. I suspect the devs themselves don't know for certain. They do have a dev blog that you can read to catch up on news. I'm sure they will announce there when there is a firm date.

Even this game is in Early Access, doesnt mean its bad. You want an unfinished game?
This game already offers more than Tripple A games for only 20€.

My guess is 2 more years. See you then fellow Viking.
(This isn't sarcasm, I totally understand the desire to wait for feature-complete before coming back)

The devs will never commit to a release date, because that would put too much pressure on them and may result in a bad release.
Look at all the AAA Titles released with tonnes of bugs and broken ♥♥♥♥♥. Those devs are under time pressures from huge companies to release by a certain date and These Devs Do Not want to be like that

AAA games take 5+ years to 'complete'. With EA you get to see the process unfold through that time instead of just hearing rumors and leaks of its existence. You get to play test the game while it's being developed.
If you're impatient, stick to released games, it takes years to develop a game, even with hundreds of employees working on different aspects of it in a billion dollar company.

I for one am satisfied, I paid £15 and got over 400+ hours in the game, and I am still playing it, and the devs are still adding stuff, a win in my eyes.
If the game was a barely working bunch of code, bereft of any content and just boring busy work I could understand the ire, but for me at least it seems to be fun and gave me hours of entertainment... a case of beers costs me £18 (for now) and last maybe 2 nights.

When the devs feel it is really for a full release, it will be.
Some EA games on Steam have been in EA for 5+ years before they finally did a full release.

There are a ton of EA games that are in that state for 5 years, and when they do hit 1.0, they keep releasing new content like it never left EA
Most games EA or not take many years to develop.
Yeah it sucks they took longer than they initially said but when i saw they had all that planned to be completed within a year i had a lot of doubts it would happen
Millions of dollars in sales will not account for years of experience (which the devs do not have) also you cant just hire new people and expect it to just speed up. It takes time. A small group like this was not prepared for the unflux of problems that come with managing a game with millions of buyers (all on different hardware) so that took a lot of time too
Honestly they need to update a lot of existing content before i would even consider 1.0 (something they wont do) a lot of these mechanics feel slapped in there, and not really designed around the overall game

and audio... Audio needs a huge rework, none of the sounds are balanced, with the hissing of leeches and necks being louder than the sounds trolls make. Each biome has one song, but all the songs are at different volumes and have no balancing. (this is one of 2 games that have such bad music i actually substitute it with other game music)
Deer bleet far too often and spawn too much
AI is not really AI. enemies have like 2 scripts, run away, attack.
Im sure other people have their gripes

Well, at their current pace, probably at least a couple of years before the full release. Title is self-explanatory. When will the "Full" version of this game finally released? Maybe more

there is no current set release date.
but i wouldn't be surprised if it took several more year's to complete the game.
i can not guess at a time line at this point.
but will be much shorter then another game i play that was in EA. and total development time for that was over 20 year's. ( one developer for most of it ) and 6 years in EA on Steam.
