i get same stutter and 1s freezes time to time, no difference is playing solo or with friend's server (which has extremely minimal ground modifications done in general). and it is not about my PC if everything else runs smooth except this one.

The game does stutter during saves, which is why the Devs set up a warning when a save is coming. I personally am seeing significant length freezes when I am playing on a cloud save, so I keep only backups on the cloud and my active game, and especially the multiplayer game I host on a local save.

thanks guys, i figured out that if you turned the screen size down, then it improves the fps by allot. i am still only on around 8 fps, though.

Depending on gpu, vulcan can run faster (the stuff game asks you about at launch).
8 fps suggests a laptop and/or dedicated graphics. Valheims low res textures are a visual design choice, not an actual "low graphics". The game takes proper GPU to run all the lightning, terrain and other effects.

Do you pass minimum requirements? If yes it'd try reinstalling GPU drivers and making sure there are no hungry apps running in the background.

Game seems to stutter a lot more after Mistlands update.

Depends on the case. Check this list and try figuring out what was the reason:
- The game uses raytracing(not the RTX) for lighting, so it might not run well on low end videocards. Try lowering the game's resolution/running in windowed mode.
- Avoid using too many light sources and particle sources, like torches an campfires. When you hit around 5, you might start seeing considerable lags.
- Don't go overly enthusiastic with terrain modification. Each modification has a cost.
