Two "The Elder" Map locations ??
New player here ... I have been exploring a lot. I have encountered around 10 hidden Rune Tablets that have given me the coordinates to The Elder Boss (my next one to do). Each time the game gives me a message saying the coordinates are already marked on my Map (from my finding of the first hidden Tablet previously).
But now I have two identical Boss icons with The Elder written under them on my Map.
Are their multiple Boss sites??
Or is one of them the Altar that the Wishbone goes on?
I found the Wishbone altar for Eikthyr already on my own (after defeating it) but it did not mark the Boss icon on my Map when I found the Altar. I had to use my own choice of the Dot icon.
Any answers of why two Elder Boss Map locations??

there are also multiple trader locations but after you find one the others disappear but for bosses yes there are multible around the map

Quite often multiple sites where gods can be summoned. My current world has 3 Eikthyr altar locations. All the locations are equivalent and god can be summoned at any of them. You can resummon even to kill him as many times as you want.

The Map ID stones will tell you the closest one to them. There are multiple locations for all bosses. A good thing actually. I had one Elder spawn right next to a plains and went to find another one to do the boss fight at. Really didn't want to get deathsquitoes and gobs mixed in the Elder fight. The next one I found was near a swamp. Ended up making both into bases.

A different why.. the maps are very, very large. I have yet to explore more than 10-15% of one. Having multiple boss spawns helps you find one in such a large area, without having to go to the one and only special location.
