So at this point in my game I was well into the iron age. I had a fully upgraded iron mace/bow and tools, but I was still using the troll leather armor due to not having enough iron to build and fully upgrade iron scale.
I'm exploring a sunken crypt and almost had the entire thing cleared out. I could hear a draugr spawner in the next room but didn't think anything about it since I'd dealt with them before. I brake through the muddy scrap and dispatch the draugr already in the room pretty easily. This is where things kinda a got bad.

Before I could destroy the spawner, out popped a two-star draugr archer. I parried the first arrow but took a ton of damage regardless because I didn't have a shield equipped. To make matters worse, another draugr spawned. I immediately started booking it out of the room and down the hall but another arrow hit me in the back and instantly staggered me. At this point I had like 30 HP (food I had eaten: Sausages, Serpent Stew, and Muckshake) so I ran around the corner, followed closely by the melee draugr who I killed pretty easily after parrying him once. UNFORTUNATELY for me the REAL threat was right behind him.

That two-star archer draugr just straight up deleted me from existence. It was such a shock to me that I smacked the edge of my desk at full force almost causing it to tip over and shaking everything out of place. Luckily I had a small outpost extremely close by where I had docked my ship, so I grabbed some extra food for stamina and started running back to the crypt.
Here I am, running butt-naked through the swamp, swerving and dodging draugr, skeletons, and slimes. Made it back to the crypt, and luckily the room I ran to before I died was far enough away that the archer draugr wasn't waiting around for me.

Got my stuff back and killed the archer from down the hall with my bow. Took out the spawner, and it was at this point I realized that room was the last, and the worst part was that there wasn't even anything good in there. Just an empty room with a spawner. My first encounter with a high-level draugr archer was also my first death after 60 hours.
