Feuerstein?

I started new. Many good items need Firestone to craft. But where can I find Firestone? And how and where can I mine or even craft a pickaxe for mining. Did not find any reseat for a Pickaxe.

fire-stone is limiting. The bulk of arrowheads and sharp tools found in my area at least are of flint, so its not just for making a spark. It can be worked down to a razor edge.

How do you make a spark to light the fire again? Somehow I could not do it. Maybe you hold the Flint in your hand and than E on the fire?

It's actually only used for sharpness in Valheim. Fires, torches etc you just craft with stones, wood and resin and they burn automatically while they have fuel.

In the Meadows.

French name is 'silex' btw, a Latine word for 'hard stone', not so cool than 'Feuerstein', and not so accurate than 'flint(=splint) stone', in my opinion.

flint (Feuerstein) can be found on the meadows beaches, lakes and rivers
the pickaxe can be crafted if you beat the first boss (Eikthyr)
the pickaxes can be repaired on the workbench if broken

Um. Flint is found in Black Forest (Schwarzwald) not the Meadows. All else is correct.

You'll get a pickaxe by just progressing in the game.

Flint (that's the English name used by the game) can be found on the coasts and along rivers, so near water.

Flint's a good biker name but Feuerstein is way cooler.

The German name is certainly more descriptive than 'flint'. :D
